This tool allows you to print the map as currently viewed on screen.
Pass the arrow cursor over the ‘Print Map’ button, click once with
the left-hand mouse button, this will bring up a blue pop-up box titled ‘PlanAccess
Print Template’. This will have the following fields:
Type of Template: clicking on the side arrow will reveal a
pull-down box with the choice of: portrait (map printed vertically on the page);
or landscape (map printed horizontally on the page). Click your preferred layout.
Title of Template: This is where you can insert your own title,
for future reference. Move the cursor over the white box and click once, then
type the title. This field is optional.
Description of Template: This is where you can insert your own description
of the map, for future reference. Move the cursor over the white box and click
once, then type your description. This field is optional.
Once you have completed your print details, move the cursor over the
button and click once for a print preview. To print this map, move
the cursor arrow to the menu above the map. Click on ‘File’ and
this will reveal a pull-down box, scroll down to ‘Print’ and click
once. This will bring up a box in which you can choose your printing preferences,
eg. how many copies you want. To initiate printing, click once on the ‘Print’
button.
